I gathered these photos today...which was such a blast! I am hoping this slideshow of photos will help my girls/models for the next photoshoot I will be doing :) I am adding some new amazing pieces to the Native Collection of my jewelry line called The Motique. I have a few things in mind that i am going to keep secret so you will have to just stay tuned. This natural beauty is Lissie, a pop/indie/country music artist who is captivating in my eyes. Her music has a very soulfull vibe, and very true feeling. I'ts relaxing and kind of like a Janice Joplin touch. I think her music is amazing check her out now! Here is one of my favorite songs....what do you think??

Indie Life...Is the life

As I sit in my room all bundled up, I just keep thinking about spring and summer awaiting. I am a spring baby who loves flowers, driving aimlessley, and laying in the grass looking up at the clouds. I love these relaxed indie looks for the spring and summer, and I seriously cannot wait for the amazing fashion trends in 2011! High floral shorts with little booties, lace tops with tights, fedoras, native prints and more! The Indie life is simplicity at its best. Not only is the fashion amazing, but the indie music scene is where this trend all started. It actually originated in the United Kingdom and the United States in the 1980s! Some of my favorite indie bands are the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. MGMT. The Gorillaz. Rogue Wave. Mumford and Sons. Band of Horses etc. I am so stoked to wip out my jeans shorts and flip flops and soak up some sun...haha maybe even ride my vintage bike!  Let me know what your favorite indie bands are, and if this style is happening for ya?!

These gorgeous girls above are all models/and or photographers. I love each of their styles, and can really get some great ideas from them! Photography has been a big part of my life lately and I've really began to love each click of the camera I take. I think Photography really is a way for me to release stress, and it may sound cheesy but one with the object. These girls have made a life of modeling and most are apart of the Model Mayhem Agency. I would loooovveee to be apart of the agency as well, but will see how that goes ;) If your interested in finding some great clothing, makeup, or jewelry ideas check out these wonderful ladies.
